Training, Consulting and Services from Academic Assembly International Alumni and Graduate Services

When most people think of alumni, they think of donors, but that’s missing the number one factor of any sale – personal relationships.  Led by renowned international alumni development expert Gretchen Dobson, Academic Assembly’s International Alumni and Graduate Services Division helps build a lifelong relationship between your institution and your international alumni family.  Working with Academic Assembly you will Identify tactics for tracking down lost alumni, discovering, recruiting and retaining more international alumni volunteers, creating an infrastructure to support both short- and long-term alumni relations, planning new and improved international events, and identifying, developing and/or expanding international volunteer management opportunities and practices.  In the end, you can build your alumni into a successful platform to extend your institution’s global success.

At the core of Academic Assembly’s International Alumni and Graduate Services is the Global Alumni Relations Course. For an annual subscription of $995, Academic Assembly will provide your institution with two (2) seats for Gretchen’s 12-module online professional development seminar.  This allows sharing the training program between departments or for use in staff training sessions throughout the year.

Your team will also have access to a library of best practice recommendations, updated case studies and planning templates.  Gretchen will moderate your progress through the course and will periodically check in to help in your institutions progress to help you make the most of your subscription. The Global Alumni Relations Course is available now through our partnership with PIER.

What is Global Alumni Relations?

Global Alumni Relations is the outreach to and engagement of internationally affiliated alumni, students, faculty, staff, families, community, and key industry/governmental partners in the support and advancement of institutional priorities at home and abroad.
